The Portishead Lifeboat Trust is headed by Mr Colin Wilson, our Chairman. His team of Trustees is responsible for the administrative running of the Trust, including fund raising and the allocation of funds to ensure every penny is put to the best possible use.

The operational side is controlled by the Launch Authority and his deputies.

The Crew structure is divided into Snr Coxswains, Coxswains, Crewmen and Trainees & Cadets.

Justin Olver, a Senior Coxswain and Trustee, heads up a team responsible for crew training.

We also have a large number of Shore Helpers and a plethora of other able supporters who assist in all aspects of the smooth running of the Lifeboat.
